Jome, a Ukrainian-founded startup, has successfully closed a $9.8 million Series A funding round, with Roosh Ventures playing a pivotal role as one of the investors. This announcement was made by Sergey Tokarev, co-founder and partner at Roosh Ventures, on LinkedIn. He expressed his excitement about the investment: “Excited to announce that Roosh Ventures invests in Jome, a platform that helps people find new construction homes in the USA.”
Jome is revolutionizing the process of buying newly constructed homes in the U.S. by addressing a key challenge in the real estate market: accessibility. The platform uses advanced artificial intelligence to uncover hidden listings that are not readily available on traditional real estate platforms. It also provides prospective homebuyers with tools such as advanced search options, instant viewing bookings, and unbiased expert advice to guide them through what can otherwise be a complicated and stressful process.
The U.S. real estate market faces a significant shortage, with an estimated deficit of 4 to 7 million homes. This gap makes finding suitable homes a daunting task for buyers, and the problem is compounded by the fact that a majority of newly built houses are not listed on popular property platforms.“It’s not easy to buy a house in the US, especially since the country is missing 4 to 7 million homes. What adds to the issue is that most newly built houses aren’t available on real estate listing platforms,” writes Sergey Tokarev.
Through its AI-powered platform, Jome aggregates nearly 90% of available new construction homes across 16 major cities in the United States. This comprehensive database makes the platform one of the most efficient tools for homebuyers searching for new properties. Its user-friendly interface and streamlined process ensure a smoother experience for buyers, making it a valuable resource in a competitive market.
The $9.8 million Series A funding round was led by Geek Ventures and saw participation from a range of prominent investors, including Roosh Ventures, u.ventures, Toloka VC, Vesna Capital, Network VC, SID Venture Partners, Flyer One Ventures, and Forefront VP. The capital raised will be used to expand Jome’s market reach, further enhance its AI-driven platform, and improve its service offerings for both buyers and developers.
Dan Hnatchkovsky, co-founder of Jome, highlighted the company’s vision: “Our platform is for those who treasure that magical first step into a new space and believe every home is an adventure waiting to unfold. We created our brand with a promise to deliver an innovative, joyful journey to every new homebuyer.” Since its inception in 2020, Jome has helped over 100,000 buyers find their dream homes and continues to expand its reach and capabilities.
